People contact us for many different reasons, from relationship concerns and false allegations to theft, family disputes and workplace investigations.
A polygraph test works best when there is a specific factual issue to examine. Before arranging the appointment, we review the circumstances, discuss what you need answered and determine whether our lie detector test services are suitable.
Lie Detectors UK doesn’t operate a permanent office in Guildford. Our established offices are in Maidstone and Sevenoaks.
For Guildford and Surrey clients, a suitable private location can be discussed where appropriate. You can also travel to one of our established offices.
The location and total fee are confirmed before booking, so you’ll know how the appointment will work before making a decision.
Your polygraph examiner begins with a private pre-test consultation covering the circumstances and what you need the test to answer. The questions are discussed in advance, with the exact wording agreed before testing begins. There are no surprise questions during the actual test.
During the polygraph exam, the polygraph instrument records physiological responses including breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and changes in skin conductivity. These responses are recorded while you answer the agreed questions. The examiner then analyses the test data to assess whether the responses indicate deception. Allow around two hours for a standard appointment, including the consultation and polygraph examination.
Your polygraph results are explained on the same day. Every test also includes a full written report after the examination. An inconclusive result is possible where the physiological responses don't provide enough information for a clear outcome.
We arrange professional polygraph tests for private individuals and clients across Guildford and Surrey.
Depending on the circumstances, the test may address a relationship dispute, false accusation, theft investigation, family disagreement or workplace matter. Each case is reviewed before an appointment is confirmed.
A matrimonial lie detector test can focus on a specific concern such as suspected infidelity, hidden contact or another disputed event.

Where someone denies a false allegation, a detector test can focus on the specific claim rather than broader accusations. Polygraph results aren’t legal proof and won’t be presented as such.
Where money or property has disappeared, polygraph testing can focus on the specific incident rather than everyone who may have had access.
Where an issue involving a partner or family member comes down to a clear factual question, a polygraph examination may help provide clarity.
Professional polygraph services may also be considered for workplace or business investigations where consent, confidentiality and the specific allegation require careful consideration.
